ELNATH
Elnath's floor plan is based on the same principle as Mira with the central, long and unifying community part. The upper floor has been given a staggered side to make room for a light shaft over the entrance. The exterior design has strong references to Swedish manor houses through its hipped mansard roof and mirror-symmetrical window placements. The monumentality is reinforced by the fact that all the windows have been gathered in high vertical sections, with the middle sections as accents. This also expresses the key functions of the plan. The exterior's material stands in sharp contrast to the retrospective design language. The sinusoidal corrugated facade sheet metal gives more association to machinery and industry. Water drainage is done with the help of cornice gutters and downpipe channels built between the facade sheets in a way that further reinforces the symmetry.
