POLARIS

A continuous gallery connects four interior volumes, which are organized as house within a house. Social areas such as the living room, dining room plus entrance/staircase are created in the spaces between more closed rooms, such as the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom in this case. The social rooms, which have double ceiling heights, flow together in a continuous open flow. Roof drainage is provided by a cornice gutter and downpipes integrated into the outer layer of the facade, flush with the exterior of the brick facade.
