ASYNCHRONOUS TIME

Let us assume that reality exists as small fragments of infinitesimal realities, the very smallest components of total reality. Let us call these "realoids" for the moment.

According to something like a text I have written before about reality and the "Paradox Engine", a reality arises spontaneously out of nothing, but it also ceases simultaneously as it only describes a static state, without change. There is no time. Read more in the mentioned text.

The idea here is that instead of a single totally complex reality containing all relationships, i.e., the entire universe or even several universes, individual existences first arise on a minimal scale. These are defined by other existences and are part of a common structure. See text about structures. These existences are the smallest components of the structure. The structures are both interwoven and hierarchically structured. Its smallest parts I here call realoids.

Either the realoids are the simplest possible relationships or they are the building blocks of these most simple relationships. I do not yet know what the situation would be like in that case.

What prevents everything from simply ceasing to exist is the total and inherent interaction of the structure between all nodes from the largest to the smallest, i.e. the realoids. Surrounding parts of a node in the structure, define the node's existence as a product of the surrounding nodes' relationships. Each individual node then becomes the conclusion of all other nodes' relationships to each other. Each node is defined by all other nodes and participates in the definition of every other node. On a macro scale, it means that the overall structure defines itself through its internal relationships. In this way, it stays alive if there is at least one relationship left. If all the relationships end, this reality also ends. This is the same as breaking all contacts between all nodes. Permanently. Nodes exist provided that other nodes define them. Without definition, there is no node. A single infititesimal node, or in other words an action, does not exist solitarily. A single realoid exists only in relation to other realoids. Only then is there a structure or a network.

This text began by mentioning the concept of time. How does time relate to this model?! Here, time is a process.

In this model, time is about the amount of all changes in relationships in the overall structure. Here, time is not absolute. It is not a series of moments in parallel across the entire universe, one after the other. It is not a dimension that the universe travels through. Rather, time is the change in relationships between nodes that is a consequence of new relationships arising as a result of the sum of all other already established nodes. Or in other words: realoids are created out of the relationship between all other realoids. These new realoids in turn create additional new realoids and so on. When an individual has contributed with its effect, it ceases. When the environment affects its environment of which it itself is a part, a similar effect will again be created where the previous one disappeared. This new realoid is only almost the same as the previous one. Therefore, there is a small change. This new effect then affects the environment somewhat differently than its previous generation. This then leads to a gradual change in the sum of all realoids. This process does not just take place from one reealoid to another. It goes on between every single realoid to every other realoid. This builds up a persisting reality. This reality floats around in itself like a living mass. Reality is created everywhere by parallel but unsynchronized realoids that in turn create others, consistently with new conditions. It's not like a movie of a series of frames. Rather, it is as if each pixel in the film comes to life, gives birth to new ones in interaction with all the other pixels and dies, a similar pixel is generated, repeating basically the same process with a slight difference to the previous one. It happens spontaneously based on the ambient conditions of each pixel created, not like film frame after frame.

This movement of changing relationships, which emerges as a cascade of works, appears as time.

In the text about The Paradox Engine, the question is asked of how different realities succeed each other with continuity. With the Realoid model, the continuity is explained by the unsynchronized existence of the realoids. Reality is its own bond. There is no series of realities that need an intermediary contact between each other.
